Client C, new kitchen and utility room

Brief: To improve the flow of the kitchen, create more even and practical lighting. Creat a seating area as part of the kitchen. Above all make it easy to keep clean.

The original space was badly designed and lacked a flow, so our first goal was to simplify the layout and open the space, making it a friendly environment in which to cook and relax.

By reorganising the storage and moving the double oven we opened the space, giving us room to add the peninsular. We also used a 12mm thick worktop with a stainless steel profile to help draw you into the kitchen creating a sense of depth. The edge detail complimented the handles on the doors as well as the utensils and other objects within the kitchen.
